A guided photography walk to Elmley's wildest spots in search of mainly owls, harriers, hares and many more! Our in-house Nature Guide, Abbie will scout out the Reserve beforehand, to try her best to tailor and monitor this walk to provide the best results for our nature-snappers!

This walk is an opportunity to experience both dawn and dusk on the Reserve, depending on which time the session will be held, which will provide the perfect amount of peace and tranquility to capture the wildest moments at Elmley.

A 4x4 vehicle may be used to reach the the best wildlife activity at that time, please do let us know if you are unable to ride in our Land Rover, as unfortunately this tour is unsuitable for pregnant women and the step to reach the seating in the vehicle is reasonably high, therefore please consider this before booking.

Photography equipment will not be provided, therefore please bring everything that you need along with you.

When the duration of tour is mentioned, it is an approximate measure and your experience may differ on the day.
Actual tour timings may vary, due to the sun rise and set. Your tour guide will contact you with any changes.
Please note that we cannot guarantee any wildlife sightings on tours.
Tours are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless there are extenuating circumstance, which is at the discretion of the tour guide and Elmley representatives.
Cancellation of the tour due to weather conditions is at the guide's discretion. If we judge that the tour is not possible due to very poor weather conditions the guide will contact you to go ahead to rearrange or process a refund.
Bookings can be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to the date of tour booking, but may incur an admin fee of £25. Please call the main office on 01795 664896 to re-arrange to a preferred date.
Please ensure you are wearing sensible walking footwear and weather appropriate outwear (Elmley is an exposed coastal site so prepare for all weathers regardless of the forecast).
Please ensure you come prepared with drinking water.
Elmley reserve the right to ask any participant to leave, should their behaviour be deemed inappropriate, or unsafe. In such case, refunds will not be given.
It is your responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions in advance, that we should be aware of.
We reserve the right to cancel your tour should you arrive more than 10 minutes after the start time. In this circumstance we will not refund or reschedule. If the tour goes ahead, this time will be deducted from your tour and no partial refund will be issued.
Please note that the wildlife moves across the reserve depending on tides, weather and prey so routes may change and no single spots can be guaranteed.
