Description

Elmley Photography Walk

These walks are a new addition to the Elmley experience, and we cannot wait to share this with you all! This is a chance for all photographers and nature enthusiasts, to embark on a walk through the marsh and capture those special moments, that are rewarded to those who dedicate their time and patience to wildlife.

Our guide will tailor the exact route according to the best wildlife activity around at that time. The walking is at a gentle pace with several stops but a moderate level of fitness is required along with weather appropriate clothing. The groups will consist of 4 individuals, there will be 3 large pop up hides scattered across the marsh, targeting different species, such as; Owls, Hares, Birds of prey and the Eurasian Bittern.

These walks will not be on consecutive days, as we aim to schedule these walks around the weather and tide times.

Your ticket includes entry to the reserve from 9am until 5pm, so please feel to arrive before or after your tour to enjoy the reserve and our facilities. Our café is currently open from 9:30am until 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, and Sunday from 11:30am until 16:30pm.

Please note that Elmley will not be providing any equipment, except seating in the photography hides, therefore we kindly ask for you to bring your own cameras, binoculars and scopes.
